Warning for the annual Barkhamsted Fire District meeting posting

2008-2009 Budget

Mr. Richard Winn,  President of the Barkhamsted Fire District, has served the town now for many years. His ability to work with people and his knowledge of his role in the District  has earned him the respect from all members. Mr. Winn continues to lead the Fire District in a direction that helps serve the Town of  Barkhamsted residents and our surrounding neighbors.  

 Best wishes to Richard Healy our former Fire Marshall for the town of Barkhamsted. As of December 31, 2006 he is officially retired. He will be greatly  missed. Many thanks to Mr. Healy for his years of service to the town, his commitment to safety and his dedication in fulfilling his duties in the highest standard. Best and bright wishes to you and your family Mr. Healy from the Town of Barkhamsted and the Barkhamsted Fire District.    

Firefighter Marq Johnson  is the day time paid Firefighter. He has now served the Barkhamsted Fire District for about four years. For those of you that don't know Firefighter Marq let me tell you a little about him. Marq has thirty years of experience in the fire service. He is also is a State Certified level II Instructor. In his free time he teaches at the Burville Fire Academy   and other locations. More

We would like to welcome in our new Fire Marshall , William Baldwin. (on right)  We would also like to welcome our Deputy Fire Marshall's' William Skibesky and Steven Williams. No set schedule has been set up that Mr. Baldwin  will be in the office.
