President Winn called the meeting to order at 7:34pm.
Corrections to last month’s minutes:
A motion was made to accept last month’s minutes as presented by T. Collins and 2nd by K.Hansen. Unanimously approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
The treasurer’s report was handed out by A. O’Toole and reviewed.
A motion was made to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented by K.Hansen and 2nd by T.Collins. Unanimously approved.

Fire Fighter Awards: A check has been sent out to A.G. Edwards

Safety: Physicals held at
Policy: Drafts of the new Budget and Purchasing Policies were handed out for review as well as an updated draft of the District’s Joint application for membership.
President Winn also asked all Chiefs to take inventory of all low band radio equipment and report to Mark as soon as possible.
SCBA: Two vendors have been out already and packs are available for testing at the BE Station. Two more vendors are scheduled to come out on November 29, 2004 to demo there equipment. All members are encouraged to attend.
Old Business
Barkhamsted East Station and Pumper: The station addition/remodeling will be going out to bid this week – bid opening will be held on 11/30/04 at Shoenhardt’s Office.
Dry Hydrants: Nothing at this time.
State/FEMA Grants: Pleasant Valley has officially received FEMA Grant.
Web Page: The page continues to be updated as information continues to trickle in.
Riverton Septic System: Nothing at this time.
New Business
FDIC 2005 – Will be held the week of April 10, 2005 – Rooms have been reserved by President Winn already – there are 4 spaces available for BFD members.
Riverton’s Christmas Party will be held on December 10, 2004 at the Coon Club.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by K.Hansen and 2nd by T. Collins.
Unanimously approved.
