2006 Annual Business Meeting Minutes
Meeting Date: June 6, 2006.
Meeting called to order by
President North at 2000 hrs.
Roll Call: President North called the roll. There were 14 members in attendance.
Secretary’s Report: The Secretary
read the minutes from the 2005 Annual meeting.
Motion made by James Lagassie to accept the minutes as read. Seconded by Ed Connors. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
No report.
Chief’s Report: Fire Chief James Lagassie gave a brief recap
of the year ending and thanked everyone for their participation and dedication.
A nominating committee which
included Storm Connors and Frank Wynne produced a slate of officers for the
2006-2007 year. This slate was
presented and an election then followed.
The voting results were as follows:
Fire Chief: James Lagassie was the only nomination. Terry Cyr made a motion that the nominations
be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for the nominee. Seconded by Ed Connors. Motion carried unanimously. James Lagassie was re-elected as Fire Chief
Assistant Fire Chief: Ken Cyr was the only nomination.
Terry Cyr made a motion that the nominations be closed and that one vote
be cast by the Secretary for the nominee.
Seconded by Ed Connors. Motion
carried unanimously. Ken Cyr was
re-elected as Assistant Chief.
Captain: Ed Connors was the only nomination. Terry Cyr made a motion that the nominations
be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for the nominee. Seconded by James Lagassie. Motion carried unanimously. Ed Connors was elected as Captain.
Lieutenants: Russ Neher and Karl Jacobs were nominated
for the two lieutenant positions. There
were no other nominations. Ed Connors made
a motion that the nominations be closed and that one vote be cast for each by
the Secretary for the nominees.
Seconded by Terry Cyr. Motion
carried unanimously. Russ Neher and
Karl Jacobs were elected as Lieutenants.
Engineer:
there were no nominations.
President:
Peter North was the only nomination. Ed
Connors made a motion that the nominations be closed and that one vote be cast
by the Secretary for the nominee.
Seconded by Terry Cyr. Motion
carried unanimously. Peter North was
re-elected as President.
Vice President: Francis Lattizori was the only
nomination. Ed Connors made a motion
that the nominations be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for
the nominee. Seconded by Russ
Neher. Motion carried unanimously. Francis Lattizori was re-elected as Vice
President.
Secretary: James Shanley was the only nomination. Ed Connors made a motion that the
nominations be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for the
nominee. Seconded by Terry Cyr. Motion carried unanimously. James Shanley was elected as secretary.
Treasurer: Jerry Thompson was the only nomination. Ed Connors made a motion that the
nominations be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for the
nominee. Seconded by Terry Cyr. Motion carried unanimously. Jerry Thompson was re-elected as Treasurer.
Commissioner
(3 year term): Richard Heacox was the only nomination. Ed Connors made a motion that the
nominations be closed and that one vote be cast by the Secretary for the
nominee. Seconded by Terry Cyr. Motion carried unanimously. Richard Heacox was re-elected to a 3-year
term as Commissioner.
Adjournment: Motion made by Ed Connors to
adjourn. Seconded by Russ Neher. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 2022 hrs.
