Monthly Commissioner’s Meeting Minutes
Meeting Date: April 26, 2006
Meeting called to order by
President North at 1934 hrs. Minutes
were kept by Terry Cyr because the secretary was absent.
Attendance: P. North, F.
Lattizori, J. Thompson, T. Cyr, R. Heacox, D. Markure
Secretary’s Report:
The minutes of the March
Commissioner’s Meeting were read by the acting secretary as the Secretary was
absent. There were two corrections:
Terry Cyr did not attend the March meeting and under item 3 of New Business it
should read Jacob Andryzeck not Jason.
Motion was made by Rich Heacox that the minutes be approved as amended,
seconded by Jerry Thompson. Motion
carried.
Treasurer’s Report: There
was no report.
Chief’s Report: There was no report.
Old Business
1.
The membership status
of Louis Patchett, John Andryzeck and Jacob Andryzeck were discussed including
proposing John Andryzeck and Louis Patchett as Lifetime Membership. A motion was made by Jerry Thompson to
recommend to the membership that John Andryzeck be made a Lifetime Member. Seconded by Francis Lattizori. The motion failed 2 yea, 3 nay (Markure,
Heacox and T. Cyr).
2.
A question regarding
the status of the house siren was raised.
Some thought they heard it go off recently.
3.
The status of the
utility van was discussed.
4.
A letter should be
sent to Jacob Andryzeck to request that he return all department issued
equipment.
1.
A letter needs to be sent
to Ben Washington requesting he reimburse the Department for the Firefighter I
course books ($96) because he has withdrawn from the class. The letter also needs to inquire as to his
future intentions with the Department.
2.
A reminder that the
District’s Annual meeting is 5/10/06 at BE.
3.
Rich Winn has communicated
to Peter North that the agenda for future meetings of this Department should be
posted prior to the meeting.
