“Motion: A motion was made by Jerry Thompson to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing member participation and eligibility in the District’s LOSAP, with Chief Lagassie attending as a guest.  Seconded by Terry Cyr.  Motion carried.”

The Secretary requested reimbursement of $9.09 for postage.  This started a discussion of the need for a petty cash account.  There was general agreement that this would facilitate paying for small items or with short notice.  The treasurer agreed to put $100 in cash in some kind of cash box in the Chief’s office.  Anyone using petty cash should leave a receipt in the box, and the treasurer will replenish the cash.  A motion was held until the treasurer’s report.

The Secretary reported that the accepted Snow Plow bid and required insurance documentation had been received.  These will be filed in the Chief’s office.

The Secretary reported that the minutes of the Department’s meetings will now be available online on the District’s website.  In addition a current Department roster will be there but will only be accessible with a password.  The webmaster will be issuing passwords.  Terry Cyr requested that her home phone number be removed from the online form.
